Becca is so helpful and easy to talk to. I ask a lot of questions; some of them are very basic, and I?ve asked them a few times as I?m learning. She?s so patient and such a great resource . The whole group was fun to be with. I learned something from everyone.

was a great learning event -- I now understand how to 'use' the manual settings in a way that makes sense; having the opportunity to have 'hands on' experience in different settings was the key; Becca was wonderful; patient and spent time with everyone as we asked questions; the small group was also great.

The teacher (Rebecca) is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! This is the second class that I took with her and I?m really impressed with how much we?ve covered in each session. I?ve taken other online courses in the past and none have come close to the hands on experience that I?m gaining through these workshop/classes with Rebecca. Highly recommend!

Sunrise from Manitowoc Harbor, 4-7-24. I love visiting Manitowoc because for me it is like stepping back a half century or so into the past. There are some wonderful grain silos and industrial sites nearby just begging for some black and white shots. I was just passing through this particular morning and could not linger long. I will definitely be coming back with camera in hand to this lovely and scenic town.

Abstract realism is an art style that combines two completely contradictory styles of art: abstract expressionism and realism. The resulting artwork is both immediately identifiable as representing something or someone, while also taking advantage of abstract aesthetic and techniques in an effort to challenge or amplify one?s reaction.

Thank you for the consideration. Background to this photo.A couple of years ago on our local community page I saw a photo of a tree covered in bioluminescent fungi saying it was found in Gerroa, 5 minutes drive from me. Wow how amazing, so I set out to find it and photography it too. Since then I developed an interest in fungi and look forward to Autumn when there is plenty about. To enable me to photograph ghost fungi ( omphalotus nidiformis) I go for a bush walk during the day mostly

Mesa Arch is about a 25 minute walk from the parking lot in Canyonland National Park. At night, it's the darkest sky I've ever seen. This photo represents 20 stacked images of the Milky Way combined together in Starry Landscape Stacker. The result required the scene to be slightly brightened in post to bring out the foreground.

While visiting Cannon Beach, Oregon for Spring Break this year, we were treated to beautiful blue skies, warm weather, stars AND airglow at night! I was absolutely giddy about seeing those stars! Now I hope you all know how extremely rare this combination is on the pacific coast in spring. It's normally overcast and raining and definitely no stars to be seen. Thank you universe for allowing your magic to flow this evening. I truly appreciate you and your powers ??
